What is the 120-Night Risk-Free trial policy?

Visiting a mattress retailer often means going back and forth between mattresses, and even then, you can only try out each mattress for a few minutes. Personal Comfort bed sets a new standard for mattress shopping by allowing our customers to try-out the Personal Comfort smart bed for a full 120-nights. Your body may take up to 3-4 weeks before it adjusts to your new sleeping surface. If you have been tossing and turning at night it may take this long to retrain your brain, even on the new sleeping surface. For some, it may take longer, so that is why we offer a full 120-nights to try-out the Personal Comfort smart bed. If for whatever reason you’re not completely satisfied with your Personal Comfort mattress you may return it, for a full refund, making this truly a risk-free trial.

Shipping Questions

Do I have to pay for shipping?

We offer free shipping to all of our customers in the continental United States. Additional shipping charges may apply for deliveries outside the continental United States (actual shipping rate will be quoted on a per order basis). Delivery to rural areas and an incorrect addresses may delay shipping times. In-home setup services do have a fee associated with the level of service purchased.


How long does it take for my order to ship?

Mattress only orders generally ship within 3 to 5 days (excluding weekends and holidays) for most common Personal Comfort sizes. Mattress orders with a power base may ship within 5 to 10 days from date order was placed.


What is the estimated time it takes to deliver my order?

Most common sizes and model mattresses may be delivered within 10 to 14 business days. Orders that include a power base or are a custom size, may arrive between 14 to 21 business days. Production times may vary and can delay tracking numbers for 3 to 5 days. In-Home Setup and Delivery services may add another 3 to 4 weeks for delivery. Please allow for extra shipping time during peak/holiday seasons as orders are subject to seasonal fluctuation. If you ordered a custom size (Split Cal. King, Cal. King, Flex-Head ™ mattresses) or any other customization (matching bed base cover), power base, etc there may be 3 to 5 day production time added to your order.

In rare cases one or more components of a bed may be out of stock. If this happens, the bed will not ship until all components are received and the order can arrive complete. You will be notified ahead of time if there will be a delay in shipping.


How can I track my order?

If your order is mattress only, a tracking number will be available via email once your order as been picked up from our warehouse, usually within 3 to 5 business days. Please be patient as it may take time for our provider to issue tracking numbers even though your item has already left our warehouse. You can then track your order by logging into your account.

Orders that include in-home setup and delivery service may be sent a separate email with delivery information as these deliveries are shipped through another third-party company. Please allow up to a week to receive tracking for these shipments.

Once available, tracking should be automatically sent to the email address you supplied. If your email is incorrect there could be a delay with receiving your tracking information. Holidays and special sales promotions may also delay shipments.

Payment Questions

What are my payment options?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express). We also have financing options available with approved credit.

Note: Financing orders must fill out an application form for approval. Only orders that have been approved for financing will be shipped.


Is it safe and secure to pay with my credit card?

Does Personal Comfort offer any discounts?

We take great pride in being able to offer the best value through seasonal discounts and closeout sales throughout the year. We highly recommend to call and speak with a Sleep Specialist by phone as we may be offering a sale, weekly special or a bundle discount that is not listed online.

We offer additional savings for referral customers, returning customers and those who purchase multiple beds in one order. First Responders, Veterans, Teachers and Senior Citizens may qualify for additional discounts, with proof of identification. We also carry closeout models, and on occasion, are sold at a discount rate. The full factory warranty still applies on closeout mattresses, supplies are limited so please call for details.


Where can I enter a coupon or promotional code?

Occasionally we offer coupon or promotional codes for product bundles, seasonal sales or closeout products. To use one of these codes, please enter the code during your checkout process. If you place your order over the phone, please inform the Sleep Specialist that you have a promo code. Only one coupon code may be used per person, per order. Promo codes cannot be combined with other offers.

Comfort Questions

What is Personal Comfort Bed's comfort enhancement policy?

Personal Comfort has set the industry standard by providing our customers a 100% satisfaction guarantee: a risk-free buying decision accompanied by a comfort enhancement policy. If you are not sleeping comfortably and need to take advantage of our comfort enhancement policy, we will work with you to find your desired level of comfort. If you’re still not satisfied, and you qualify for a return, we will refund you 100% of the original purchase price of the mattress. There is a limit of one comfort enhancement for each mattress purchased by the same customer. Comfort enhancements only apply to mattresses and do not include power bases and/or accessory items. Order Questions

Does Personal Comfort accept international orders?

Currently we only accept orders that ship to the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, and some APOs & FPOs. Limited shipments to Europe can be arranged but are required to pay up front shipping fees. Please contact a Sleep Specialist to see if we can ship to your location and to receive a shipping estimate. You would be responsible for any shipping fees and duties due outside of the continental United States.


How do I cancel an order?

If you decide to cancel their order you must notify Personal Comfort within 24 hours from the time and date of Purchase. Example: The order is placed on Jan 1st, 2023 at 2:00 PM Eastern. You have the right to cancel your order until Jan 2nd, 2023 at 2:00 PM Eastern.

All of our orders are built to order, which means we assemble your order and components propoerly for shipment. We generally complete this task within 24 hours of when an order is placed. If you end up cancelling your order after 24 hours and the order has not yet shipped, you will be entitled to a refund minus a 25% restocking fee. If you cancel your order after 24 hours and the order has already shipped, you will be entitled to a refund minus a 25% restocking fee and all shipping fees associated with your order. How do I return something?

If you have purchased a mattress that is eligible for a return you have the option to return the mattress for a full or partial refund, depending on if the mattress qualifies for the risk-free trial. You can begin the returns process after forty five (45) nights from receipt of delivery. You will have an additional 75 days (for a total of 120 days from your purchase date) to schedule a return. Accessory items are not returnable or refundable. Doesn't apply to all mattresses and models, closeout beds, demo beds, friends and family beds and other discounted beds may not qualify to be returned. Are accessory items returnable (power base, adjustable base, sheets, pillows, etc…)?

How do I change my account information?

How do I contact customer service?

How do I deflate the air chamber(s)?

Please make sure there is power to your pump and then select the lowest smart bed setting for the side with the air chamber that you wish to deflate. Once the pump has reached the lowest smart bed setting you can disconnect the air chamber from the pump at the check valve. To remove the remaining air we recommend using the back side of a ball point pen (not the ink side). Press and hold the back side of the pen into the check valve. To speed up the process you can roll up the air chamber like a sleeping bag while deflating.

What devices is the app compatible with and what is their range?

This app is primarily designed for both iPhone and iPad. Compatibility: Requires iOS 8.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. If you can only use an Android device the app works best with Samsung Galaxy series tablets and phones, Motorola Moto model phones, and LG model phones. App functionality outside of these devices cannot be guaranteed and will not be supported.

The range depends on many factors. Indoor obstacles like concrete walls will obstruct the radio signal and the effective range will be drastically reduced. Also, different devices have different ranges, so connectivity also depends on the device’s bluetooth signal and range. In normal use, ten meters is a good guide to what can be achieved between two Bluetooth devices indoors.
