Personal Comfort is a direct-to-consumer fulfillment outlet that makes it more affordable to own a state-of-the-art Number Bed. Q: What is the 120 night risk free trial policy?

A: At Personal Comfort we believe a full 120 nights is needed for your body to adjust to its new sleep support system. Please contact us if during any part of the 120 night risk free trial you are not completely satisfied with the overall comfort. You must sleep on the bed for at least 45 nights to qualify. Personal Comfort will honor our 120 night comfort exchange policy. We will do our best to supply you with the best night sleep you can receive. On rare occasions, sometimes the air chambers functionality isn’t enough, our comfort exchange policy allows for you to exchange components of your mattress to help accommodate for a more plush or firm feeling. We will even exchange your recently purchased mattress for one of equal value. Your trial date starts on the date you receive your mattress.

Q: Where are Personal Comfort retail stores located?

Personal Comfort and it's medical mattress partner have roughly 70 locations across the country. Most of these locations service our hospital number beds and may not carry our full line of consumer bedding products.
When you visit a mattress showroom, you go back and forth between mattresses and you really do not get to try out the mattress "you like" for more than a few minutes. Generally your body will take roughly 3-4 weeks before it too adjusts to your new sleeping surface. We believe that you need a full 120 nights to try out any new mattress. We are so confident Personal Comfort Bed is for you that we are willing to offer it truly risk free.
If for whatever reason this bed does not live up to your expectations or you are not completely satisfied with your Personal Comfort bed, you may return your mattress purchase for a full refund on your mattress.

Q: Do I have to pay for shipping?

We offer fast free shipping to all of our customers in the continental United States.
Free Shipping: Expect your bed in 7 to 10 business days or less from ship date.
Adjustable beds: Expect your bed within 3-4 weeks or less from ship date.
Upgrade to White Glove delivery starting at $169.99 (only available with orders that include an adjustable bed base - additional 5+ days to delivery time).
Additional shipping charges will apply for deliveries outside the contiguous 48 states.
Hawaii and Alaska shipments will incur a $200 handling charge (actual shipping rate will be quoted on a per order basis).
Delivery to rural areas and an incorrect addresses may delay shipping times.

Q: What are my payment options?

To help expedite your order we accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express). We also have financing options available with approved credit.
If you are not in a hurry you may also consider paying by Cashier's or Certified Check. For your security please do not send cash. We do not take personal checks. Please allow an additional 5 business days for checks to clear once payment is received.

Q: Is it safe and secure to pay with my credit card?

Yes, shopping online with Personal Comfort is safe (personalcomfortbed.com). Our secure server software encrypts information, ensuring that internet transactions stay private and protected. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL 256 bit secured) technology, considered the gold standard in Internet encryption technology, to protect the security of your credit card information as it is transmitted to us. We are also a verified merchant through authorize.net and we have an A+ BBB rating.

Q: Does Personal Comfort Bed offer any discounts?

We take great pride in being able to offer the best value through seasonal discounts and closeout sales throughout the year. We highly recommend to call and speak with a Sleep Specialist by phone as we may be offering a sale, weekly special or volume discount that is not listed online.
We offer additional savings for referral customers, returning customers and those who purchase multiple beds in one order.  Senior Citizen and Veteran's discounts are offered with proof of identification. We also carry last year closeout models and on occasion, open box mattresses and demo mattresses that are sold at a discount rate. The full factory warranty still applies on closeout and open box mattresses, supplies are limited so please call for details.

Q: How long does it take for my order to ship?

Unassembled mattress orders generally ship your order within 24 to 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) for most common Personal Comfort sizes. Pre-Assembled mattress orders, and/or orders with an adjustable bed base, will ship within 3 to 5 days from date order was placed.

Q: What is the estimated time it takes to deliver my order?

Most common sizes and model mattresses are delivered within 7 to 10 business days. Orders that include an adjustable base, or custom order, will arrive between 14 to 21 business days and may take longer before a tracking number is made available. Subject to seasonal fluctuation. White Glove services will add another 5+ business days for delivery. Please allow for extra shipping time during peak/holiday seasons. If you ordered a custom size (Split Cal. King, Cal. King, FlexHead mattresses) or any other customization (matching bed base cover), adjustable bed base, etc there may be 3 to 5 day production time added to your order.
In rare cases one or more components of a bed may be out of stock. If this happens, the bed will not ship until all components are received and the order can arrive complete. You will be notified ahead of time if there will be a delay in shipping.

Q: How can I track my order?

If your mattress shipped unassembled, a FedEx tracking number will be available via email once your order as been picked up from our warehouse, usually within 5 business days. Please be patient as it may take time for FedEx to issue tracking numbers even though your item has already left our warehouse. You can then track your order by logging into your account.
Orders that included a pre-assembled mattress, an adjustable bed base, a FlexHead mattress or any custom products will be sent a separate email with delivery information as these deliveries are shipped via common carrier freight (not FedEx). Please allow up to a week to receive tracking for freight shipments.
Once available, tracking should be automatically sent to the email address you supplied. If your email is incorrect there could be a delay with receiving your tracking information. Holidays and special sales promotions may also delay shipments.

Q: How do I contact customer service?

Q: What devices is the app compatible with and what is their range?

This app is primarily designed for both iPhone and iPad. Compatibility: Requires iOS 8.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
If you can only use an Android device the app works best with Samsung Galaxy series tablets and phones, Motorola Moto model phones, and LG model phones. App functionality outside of these devices cannot be guaranteed and will not be supported.
The range depends on many factors. Indoor obstacles like concrete walls will obstruct the radio signal and the effective range will be drastically reduced. Also, different devices have different ranges, so connectivity also depends on the device’s bluetooth signal and range. In normal use, ten meters is a good guide to what can be achieved between two Bluetooth devices indoors.

Q: Are accessory items returnable?

No, accessory items are a final sale and are not returnable or refundable.

Q: How do I refer a family member or friend to Personal Comfort?

Yes! $50 for you. $50 for them. If you have referred a past or new customer please let us know. On orders of $1499 or more we will send you and the person you referred a $50 gift certificate and we’ll credit your account with $50 as a thank you.

Q: Where can I enter a coupon or promotional code?

Occasionally we offer coupon or promotional codes for seasonal sales or closeout products. To use one of these codes, please enter the code during your checkout process. If you place your order over the phone, please inform the Sleep Specialist that you have a promo code. Only one coupon code may be used per person, per order.

Q: How do I change my account information?

To access your account information you will need to sign in with your email and password. From there you can navigate within your account and edit or delete your information through the "my account" page.

Q: Does Personal Comfort accept international orders?

Currently we only accept orders that ship to the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, and some APOs & FPOs. Limited shipments to Europe can be arranged but are required to pay up front shipping fees. Please contact a customer service representative to see if we can ship to your location and to receive a shipping estimate.

Q: What is Personal Comfort Bed comfort exchange policy?

Thankfully all of our mattresses can be upgraded or downgraded anytime during your trial period so if you are not happy with your new mattress, it's ok. Personal Comfort Bed has set the industry standard providing our customers a 100% satisfaction guarantee by offering a risk free buying decision accompanied by a Comfort Exchange Policy.
If you need to take advantage of our Comfort Exchange Policy we will swap out your mattress with an equal value mattress, one time, we will even pay for the shipping. Additionally, we will reset your trial period, if you qualify, so you can give enough time to try out the new levels of comfort you have. If you are still not satisfied, and you qualify for a return, we will refund you 100% of the original purchase price of the mattress. There is a limit of one Comfort Exchange for one mattress purchased by the same customer.

Q: How do I cancel an order?

If for any reason, you decide to cancel their order, you must notify Personal Comfort, within 24 hours from the Time and Date of Purchase. Example: The order is placed on Jan 1st, 2015 at 2:00 PM Eastern. You have the right to cancel your order until Jan 2nd, 2015 at 2:00 PM Eastern.
If you cancel your order after 24 hours and the order has not yet shipped, you will be entitled to a refund minus a 25% restocking fee. If you cancel your order after 24 hours and the order has already shipped, you will be entitled to a refund minus a 25% restocking fee and all shipping fees associated with your order.

Q: How do I return something?

If you have purchased a mattress that is eligible for a return you have the option to exchange your mattress or return it for a full refund.* You can begin the process after forty five (45) nights from receipt of delivery. You will have an additional 75 days (for a total of 120 days from your purchase date) to schedule a return. Accessory items are not returnable or refundable.
